21 Dec Happy Holidays to You and Your Families
The holidays are truly a special time of year, especially during these challenging times. For some, it may be one of the few times during the year they spend time with family and friends, so be sure to take the time to let them know how special they are in your lives. Unfortunately, this can be a challenging time for those who lost a loved one or a close friend during the past year. Look to reflect on the special times and memories those individuals brought into your lives.
With few exceptions, most of us will have the day off. Among the exceptions are two special groups of people. This includes those that have chosen the career of protecting us day in and day out. I am speaking of our village, city, and state police forces who, without fail, do their job and don’t ask for much thanks in return. I am also speaking of those in the medical field who provide a high quality of care and compassion daily and have endured the most challenging times over the past two years. Now is a great time to let both groups know that you appreciate what they do and offer them a Happy Holiday greeting. Neither group truly gets the thanks they deserve, so I am sure they will appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
To each of you and your families and friends, I wish you the best of the holiday season.
