23 Sep The Underwriters Group Receives Prestigious Robert P. Ashlock Quality Award
Amy Baumann, AVP of Insurance Services and Quality Coordinator, and Bruce Ferguson, Jr., VP of Commercial Lines, accepted the award on behalf of The Underwriters Group, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky, at the E&O Plus Quality Management Seminar in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Established in 1993, The Robert P. Ashlock Quality Award was named after the founding president of PAR, Ltd., who died of cancer at too early an age. This award is given only once to an E&O Plus firm in its lifetime. The Underwriters Group joins an elite group of past winners, as this award has been presented only 15 times.
The Underwriters Group has been a 15-time winner of the Quality Management Award and has shown a continued firmwide commitment to best practices and the importance of following quality management principles in all client service. Further, the culture that their executive management team has built around client service is to be commended. An equally important quality in a firm worthy of the Ashlock Award is the willingness to help others. Amy has lived this quality for many years and, as a result, is a respected peer within the group of insureds and has been an integral part of making the program better.
